A EDUCAÇÃO FÍSICA NO PROCESSO DE ALFABETIZAÇÃO DE ESTUDANTES DO PRIMEIRO CICLO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL

pesquisa apresenta uma investigação de natureza qualitativa, sobre a influência da formação e prática pedagógica do professor de Educação Física no processo de alfabetização de estudantes do primeiro ciclo do Ensino Fundamental. Como instrumentos metodológicos, além da análise bibliográfica, foram aplicados questionários aos professores de Educação Física de uma grande Rede Municipal de Ensino, com o intuito de obter maiores informações de como são as práticas pedagógicas, as concepções acerca da alfabetização e como acontece a interação entre estes profissionais e as demais áreas do conhecimento dentro das unidades escolares. Os resultados apontaram que os professores de Educação Física reconhecem a relevância do seu papel dentro do ambiente escolar e a contribuição da sua prática pedagógica no desenvolvimento do processo de alfabetização dos estudantes, porém relatam a necessidade de maior investimento na formação e denunciam a falta de integração entre os docentes dentro do ambiente escolar.

The research presents a qualitative investigation, on the influence of the formation and pedagogical practice of the Physical Education teacher in the literacy process of students of the first cycle of Elementary School. As methodological instruments, in addition to the bibliographic analysis, questionnaires were applied to Physical Education teachers from a large Municipal Education Network, in order to obtain more information about pedagogical practices, conceptions about literacy and how the interaction between these professionals and the other areas of knowledge within the school units. The results showed that Physical Education teachers recognize the relevance of their role within the school environment and the contribution of their pedagogical practice in the development of the students' literacy process, however they report the need for greater investment in training and denounce the lack of integration among teachers within the school environment.
